A greenish gold that can be shiny and gleaming or moody and deep. It can be textured, black waxed and patinated and aged. It looks wonderful with a pearlescent patina.
An evocative brown metal that can also be shined, textured and waxed. Graphite can be polished into the surface to create a striking ebony look.
Ruddy and red, copper is the brightest of the Metal Finishes although it too can be dulled and made to behave with black wax. Added to brass it can take away the greenish tinge and make our Mountain Gold. Add more and it becomes Rose Gold. Add it to aluminium for a very discrete pinky grey. Add more and you have rose aluminium.
It’s the only one of our metal finishes that will not shine up to a high polish. Medium polish is the best it can do. Iron with graphite and black wax produces a rolled steel look.
Apply a little patina, however, and you have rust. Real rust. But the beauty of rust produced by our metal finishes is that it really is only skin deep. Unlike regular rust, our rust coating does not rust the substrate, only the metal finish. So it doesn’t cause any damage. But make no mistake – this rust is real and powdery. And with patinas we can create red rust, yellow rust and orange rust metal finishes.

Smokey bronze is slightly darker than traditional bronze and like the other metals it can be shined, polished, textured and waxed.
The bronze content of this lovely metal ensures that the grey has warmth and real depth. It can be shined, textured and polished. It doesn’t take a patina so it can be used as an alternative to iron.
